Rule of Thirds!

Hey there guys and gals! It’s Emily again back with another photography blog this time it’s rule of thirds. Today in class we have been working on the Rule of Thirds. Rule of Thirds is when the subject of the picture is off center.

One topic I most enjoy is playing video games due to the fact that they are entertaining and can teach you how to overcome certain obstacles in life. After overcoming a certain boss you feel accomplished.

Frames and Lines

Hey guys It’s Emily, and we have been learning about how to take photos with frames and lines. Photos with frames and lines are when there is something surrounding the object (frames). Photos with lines contain well lines!

I have a liking to everything to do with nature like bugs, plants, fauna etc. I enjoy sitting outside while I draw because it gives me inspiration. Anyhow what do y’all think about my photos that I took?

Angle Photos

Hey guys, it’s Emily and I have been learning about photos taken from different angles in my photography class. Angle photos are photos taken from different views (straight on, up, down, etc.). In my simple photos I tried to take pictures around my school that could inspire students and a funny quoted one to make you all laugh.

While trying to find quotes my girlfriend decided to give me a funny one which says “I shall use an elevator instead”. I thought it would be better if the quote was humerus instead of serious like my other classmates. I mostly enjoy the outdoors like the trees, birds, etc. So what did y’all think of my photos?

Young Photographer: Oliver Charles

Hey guys its Emily! Today my class assignment was to research young artists and write about them. For this assignment I chose a talented young artist named Oliver Charles. So I hope you guys enjoy! Below are some of his photos.

The 21 year old photographer Oliver Charles’ own style is quite enchanting in itself. It can make you feel many things for me I feel calm while I look at his works. The three images above are titled as (in order); Capturing Nature, Into Extinction, and Sleeping but not Dreaming. So tell me what feelings does his photographs convey to you?

Simple photos

Hey guys! It’s Emily, and I learned about “Photos with Simplicity” in my Digital Photography class. Simple photos are photos with nothing in the background and they only have one subject. In my five simple photos, I tried to capture some natural beauties around my school.

I have a unique perspective on traditional and digitally drawn art. I just find it appealing how people can draw something with their finger to a screen or to an indirect screen like with a drawing tablet. I also feel pleased with how the art turns out in the end. Anyways how do you feel about my photos that I took?
